Applicant Screening Services Sheriff’s Office
Snohomish County is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive applicant screening services for law enforcement and corrections positions within the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and its Corrections Division. The selected contractor will support recruitment and hiring processes by advertising open positions, processing applications, and administering pre-employment eligibility testing, including both written and physical examinations aligned with Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission standards. The contractor will also maintain a pool of qualified candidates who meet or exceed minimum requirements and make these candidates available to the County as needed. The project builds upon an existing subscription-based model that includes recruitment support, application processing, and candidate testing services. The County intends to establish a contract with a single provider for an initial three-year term, with an option to extend for an additional three years. The goal is to streamline and enhance the efficiency of identifying qualified candidates for critical public safety roles.
