The County of Kern is seeking qualified consultants to provide architectural consulting services for major maintenance and capital improvement projects across County-owned and leased facilities. These services will be delivered on an as-needed basis and will support a wide range of governmental facilities throughout the region. The selected consultants will be responsible for all phases of architectural services, including schematic design, design development, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration. Additional responsibilities include coordination with regulatory agencies, cost estimation, site visits, review of submittals, and project closeout documentation. The County intends to establish a multi-year contract, anticipated to last three years, with one or more qualified firms.
