WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of San Mateo is seeking a consultant, or team of consultants, to conduct a comprehensive review and update of its development-related fees: development impact fees, linkage fees, capacity charges, permitting and processing fees, in-lieu fees, and all user fees associated with development. The study is to be informed by the City's Cost Allocation Plan, which is being updated in parallel, and must produce recommendations to update, revise, eliminate or create fees where appropriate, consistent with the Mitigation Fee Act and other laws governing fees, rates and charges collected by public entities.
