Domestic Violence Support Services
Snohomish County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide domestic violence support services for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The selected contractor will supply trained coordinators to assist law enforcement and support victims of domestic violence throughout criminal justice processes. Services include victim advocacy, safety planning, court accompaniment, case tracking, and referrals to community resources. Coordinators will also assist officers in evidence collection, documentation, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with Washington state laws. The project aims to address increasing case volumes and service backlogs by enhancing victim support and improving coordination between law enforcement and service providers. The contractor will be responsible for staffing, training, reporting, and maintaining operational standards. This effort is funded through county general funds and is intended to improve outcomes for victims while supporting law enforcement efficiency and compliance.
