The City of Orange is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide environmental and surveying services for the Riverdale Avenue Complete Street Improvement Project. The project includes preparation of topographic survey plans, GIS-compatible mapping data, environmental technical studies, and coordination necessary to support final engineering design and federal environmental clearance. The improvement corridor extends from Glassell Street to the Orange city limits and includes installation of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, roadway reconfiguration, traffic calming improvements, ADA curb ramp upgrades, pavement improvements, and street lighting enhancements. The selected consultant will conduct detailed field surveys, prepare topographic base mapping, provide survey-to-GIS deliverables, and complete environmental studies including hazardous materials assessments and water quality documentation. The consultant will also coordinate with Caltrans and other agencies to secure National Environmental Policy Act categorical exclusion clearance. The project is funded through the Orange County Complete Streets Program and must comply with federal regulations and procedures.
