Food Literacy Floyd Urban Farm Community Action Plan
The City of Sacramento is seeking a qualified consultant to design and implement a comprehensive community engagement process and develop a strategic action plan for the Food Literacy Floyd Urban Farm. The project focuses on activating a one-acre urban farm near Leataata Floyd Elementary School to improve access to healthy food, enhance mobility, and support air quality initiatives. The selected consultant will lead outreach efforts, facilitate a 16-member community advisory committee, conduct data collection and analysis, and coordinate workshops and pilot activities. The effort includes engagement with underserved communities, local stakeholders, and partner organizations to identify needs, develop solutions, and promote equitable access to food and public space.
