Master Agreement for Flow Monitoring Consulting Services
The City of San José Department of Public Works is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide flow and rainfall monitoring services for its storm and sanitary sewer systems. These services support the City’s sewer master planning efforts by collecting critical data used to calibrate hydraulic models, evaluate system capacity, and guide infrastructure improvements. The selected consultants will enter into a master agreement and perform work on an as-needed basis through individual service orders. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and monitoring of flow meters and rain gauges, as well as data analysis related to groundwater infiltration, storm events, and system performance. The program includes both long-term and short-term monitoring across multiple sites citywide. The goal is to ensure accurate, reliable data collection to support planning decisions, regulatory compliance, and ongoing optimization of sewer operations and maintenance strategies.
