Mental Health Assessment for Young Children Workforce Collaborative
The Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to manage and facilitate the Mental Health Assessment for Young Children Workforce Collaborative. The contractor will provide DC:0-5 Clinical Training and DC:0-5 Overview Training, professional development offerings, technical assistance, outreach, recruitment, registration support, training promotion, planning, evaluation, reporting, coordination with state agencies and partners, and support for implementation activities. The work is intended to build workforce knowledge and capacity for approximately 650 Apple Health mental health professionals and 500 allied professionals so providers can use developmentally appropriate infant and early childhood mental health assessment and diagnosis practices. Services will be mostly virtual, with in-person activities if funding and circumstances allow. The contractor will also support Tribal partnership and collaboration, coordinate certified DC:0-5 trainers, maintain an online resource hub, and subcontract with trainers or other partners as needed.
