The County of Yolo is soliciting qualifications from experienced consultants and firms to provide on-call consulting services across multiple technical disciplines related to construction and environmental safety. The intent of this RFQ is to establish a pool of pre-qualified vendors who can deliver services on an as-needed basis without a guaranteed minimum workload. The scope includes three primary categories: construction building inspection services to assess structural conditions and compliance; special inspections and materials testing to ensure structural integrity and adherence to engineering standards; and asbestos and hazardous materials testing to identify environmental risks such as lead, mold, and other contaminants. These services support public infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and safety requirements across county facilities. Contracts are expected to span multiple years, and vendors must demonstrate relevant experience, certifications, and the ability to meet public works requirements.
