The City of Seattle, through Seattle Public Utilities, is seeking consultant teams to provide on-call support for a five-year data modernization initiative. The work is intended to help the utility modernize how data is managed, governed, integrated, and used across water, wastewater, drainage, and solid waste operations. Consultant support may include cloud data platform assessment and selection, strategic planning, program and project management, business intelligence and dashboard development, data science and advanced analytics, data governance, business analysis, and organizational change management. The City is seeking multidisciplinary teams to support both strategy and implementation, including requirements gathering, roadmap development, data architecture, analytics enablement, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, training, and knowledge transfer. Contracts may be awarded to one or more firms, with an estimated combined value of $2.5 million to $3 million over a five-year term. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City’s OpenGov procurement portal, along with the required proposal response, consultant questionnaire, and women- and minority-owned business enterprise inclusion plan.
