The County of Butte Department of Public Works is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide on-call professional services supporting development review and permitting activities. The selected consultant will assist with plan and permit review, preparation of conditions of approval and mitigation measures, and environmental compliance support, including documentation aligned with the California Environmental Quality Act. Additional responsibilities may include grant administration, flood risk mitigation support, and management of County Service Area and Permanent Road Division programs. The consultant will also support preparation of reports, public meeting coordination, and interagency communication with federal, state, and local stakeholders. This contract is intended to supplement County staff capacity due to increased development activity and workload demands. Services will be assigned on a task-order basis under a multi-year agreement, allowing flexibility to address various planning, regulatory, and administrative needs as they arise.
