Seattle Housing Authority is seeking a qualified professional firm to provide on-call land use legal services for redevelopment planning, construction, and real estate-related matters across SHA sites in Seattle. The selected firm will advise on regulatory compliance, entitlements, permitting, zoning, environmental review, and legal agreements, including matters involving the National Environmental Policy Act, State Environmental Policy Act, Environmental Critical Areas, Seattle zoning, and HUD-related obligations. Services may include legal research, preparation of opinions, attendance at meetings, review and drafting of contracts, applications, notices, declarations, purchase and sale agreements, due diligence materials, lot boundary adjustments, easements, and other real estate sale documents. The firm may also support SHA on building performance standards and represent SHA in land use, regulatory, and related proceedings. SHA expects work to be assigned through individual work orders under a negotiated contract.
