WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Oceanside Water Utilities Department is seeking a qualified firm to provide Owner's Consultant (OC), Construction Management, and Inspection (CMI) services for the Buccaneer Lift Station Project. The new lift station will enable conveyance of wastewater from the La Salina Wastewater Treatment Plant service area to the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility, centralizing treatment operations, optimizing capacity, and supporting potable reuse production. The project is delivered under a Fixed-Price Design-Build contract, and the selected OC/CMI firm will serve as a trusted extension of City staff throughout design review, permitting, construction, and project closeout.

WHAT OTHERS ASKED
2 questions answered
▶
We have not found any technical specifications for the butterfly valves. Should we just assume AWWA standards?
Scope/requirements
▶
Appendix B adds "Ceramic epoxy lining for wastewater service" to the gate, check, and plug valves. Valve manufacturers are reporting that the ceramic linings they are aware of have to be applied too thick and will interfere with the proper functioning of the valves. Kindly provide a specific manufacturer and product of the ceramic lining manufacturer that is requested.
