Professional Auditing Services for Audit of Impact Fee Annual Report
The City of Fresno Department of Public Works is seeking qualified auditing firms to provide professional auditing services for the preparation and analysis of the City’s Impact Fee Annual Report under the Urban Growth Management (UGM) program. The selected auditor will conduct an independent audit in compliance with Assembly Bill 1600 reporting requirements, ensuring financial transparency and accountability across multiple impact fee funds. The scope includes reviewing over 140 trust funds, analyzing fiscal year balances, developer reimbursements, capital project expenditures, and preparing an auditor’s report. The consultant will also assist in compiling supporting documentation such as service area maps and reimbursement listings. The engagement is structured as a one-year contract with options for annual extensions. The objective is to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation of infrastructure-related fee usage to support equitable urban development and public service delivery.
