Metro is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call real property appraisal and appraisal-related consulting services to support land acquisition and property evaluation activities, primarily for its Parks and Nature Department. The services are intended to assist in determining fair market value and conducting due diligence for various property interests, including fee simple acquisitions, easements, conservation lands, and development rights. The selected contractors will perform appraisals in compliance with recognized standards such as the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and may also provide feasibility studies, valuation analyses, and consulting support for negotiations. The work will involve diverse property types including residential, commercial, agricultural, and open space lands. Metro anticipates awarding contracts to multiple firms, who will be engaged on an as-needed basis over a multi-year term. The goal is to ensure accurate, well-supported valuation services that inform strategic land acquisition and environmental conservation efforts.
