Review of Development Projects for Hydraulic Design and Floodplain Analysis
Clark County is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the review of development projects involving hydraulic design and floodplain analysis. The selected consultants will act as an extension of County staff to evaluate engineering applications, construction drawings, hydrologic and hydraulic models, and technical reports submitted by developers. The goal is to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including floodplain management requirements and stormwater standards. Services include application completeness reviews, technical analysis of floodplain and floodway impacts, modeling assessments, and recommendations for permit issuance. Consultants must demonstrate expertise in hydraulic engineering, geotechnical assessments, and regulatory compliance, and must employ licensed civil engineers and certified floodplain managers.
