The County of San Benito is seeking qualified consultants to provide comprehensive solid waste management consulting services for its Integrated Waste Management Regional Agency. The selected consultant will support program development, regulatory compliance, and implementation of waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability initiatives in alignment with California state mandates such as Assembly Bill 939, Senate Bill 1383, and other CalRecycle regulations. Services include data analysis, reporting, franchise agreement support, ordinance review, and strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency and environmental outcomes. The consultant will also assist with public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and education efforts to improve community participation in recycling and waste diversion programs. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis through task orders, with a focus on ensuring compliance, improving system performance, and advancing long-term sustainability goals for the County and its member jurisdictions.
