WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The Oregon Department of the State Fire Marshal is seeking a full-service marketing firm to turn its "Home and First Five Feet" strategic communications plan into an executable statewide campaign. The goal is for "Home and First Five Feet" to become the widely understood public shorthand for wildfire preparedness in Oregon by 2028, so that most residents know that actions such as cleaning gutters, removing debris and hardening their homes can dramatically reduce wildfire risk. Success is measured by public recall, partner adoption and spontaneous use of the phrase "Have you checked your home and first five feet?"
