The University of Washington is seeking a qualified external consultant to support UW Tacoma in renewing its 2022–2027 Strategic Plan through a comprehensive nine-month planning process. The consultant will facilitate collaborative engagement with faculty, staff, students, alumni, community partners, campus leadership, steering committees, and working groups. Work includes reviewing the current UW Tacoma Strategic Plan, relevant campus frameworks, the new University of Washington strategic plan, and conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups, surveys, and data reviews. The consultant will synthesize findings into an assessment report identifying strengths, gaps, and emerging opportunities; design and facilitate meetings, workshops, and retreats; guide visioning and priority refinement; and support inclusive, equity-centered engagement. Final deliverables include a renewed strategic plan document, an implementation roadmap with timelines, responsible units, and measurable indicators, plus executive summary and presentation materials for campus communication.
