2026 Pavement Management Program Update
The City of Chico is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide professional services to update its Pavement Management Program (PMP). The project includes a comprehensive audit and update of the City’s StreetSaver® database, pavement condition surveys for approximately 331 centerline miles of roadway, quality control inspections, data entry, and Pavement Condition Index (PCI) calculations. The consultant will refine maintenance and rehabilitation strategies, conduct budget needs assessments, develop funding scenarios, and prepare a 10-year Capital Improvement Program plan. Deliverables include draft and final reports, GIS updates, and staff training. The goal is to support data-driven decision-making, optimize pavement life cycles, and guide long-range capital planning.
