WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking qualified firms to provide temporary relief American Sign Language (ASL) in-person interpreting services at its institutions and facilities statewide. The work is structured as a master agreement: a separate purchase order is issued for each participating location, and bidders may propose for one or more locations rather than the full statewide list. The department may add or remove locations during the term, with added locations served at the rates of the closest location already under the agreement.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Bids must be submitted electronically by email, as clear, legible PDF files, to CDCR-CMB-Non-IT-Service-Bids@cdcr.ca.gov; bids received any other way are not considered. The subject line must read 'BID FOR C5613445-D American Sign Language (ASL) In-person Interpreting (IPI) Services' and the email body must contain only 'DO NOT OPEN', the bid number, 'ATTENTION: Kristina Cardoso' and the company name. Attachments over 40 MB risk rejection, so large bids may be split across numbered emails (1 of 3, 2 of 3, and so on); links to files stored online are not reviewed. The Bidder Acknowledgment/Certification (OBS 300), the completed Exhibit B-1 Rate Sheet and all signed pages of the Contractor Certification Clauses must be included, signed by an authorized individual by DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign or scanned ink signature. Alternate contract language causes rejection.
