Americans With Disabilities Act Compliance Consulting Services
The City of San Ramon is seeking qualified consultants to provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance consulting services, including a comprehensive update to its Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. The selected consultant will reconcile and audit existing accessibility data, conduct targeted field evaluations of facilities, parks, and public rights-of-way, and develop a Master Barrier Matrix in Excel to track remediation efforts. Services include cost estimating, prioritization of barrier removal, policy review, staff training, and development of long-term maintenance protocols. Optional tasks include public engagement workshops and City Council presentations. In addition, the consultant will serve in an on-call capacity to provide accessibility peer review, plan review, capital improvement project advisory services, and site inspections. The goal is to modernize the City’s 2014 ADA Transition Plan and ensure sustained compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable California accessibility regulations.
