Analyze, Study, Design, and Implement Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Strategies for Epsilon, S, and V Neighborhoods
The City of La Habra is seeking qualified consultants to provide comprehensive professional services for its Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) across three identified neighborhoods: Epsilon, S, and V. The project involves data collection, traffic analysis, and evaluation of existing roadway conditions to determine eligibility for traffic calming measures. Consultants will conduct field studies, including traffic volume and speed data collection, followed by analysis aligned with the City’s NTMP criteria. Based on findings, the consultant will develop Phase I and Phase II traffic calming recommendations, prepare conceptual and final engineering design plans, and support implementation. The project also includes post-implementation evaluation to assess effectiveness through before-and-after traffic studies. Additional responsibilities may include community engagement support and attendance at City Council meetings. The goal is to improve neighborhood safety, reduce traffic speeds, and enhance overall livability through data-driven and community-supported solutions.
