The Tule River Indian Tribe of the Tule River Reservation in Tulare County, California, is requesting proposals from architectural and design firms to renovate and convert its former Eagle Mountain Casino building into a Tribal Government Center. The approximately 39,874-square-foot building on the Reservation was vacated when the Tribe relocated its Class III gaming facility, and the Tribe intends to turn it into a modern, efficient, secure, and welcoming center housing Tribal Council chambers, Council offices, Tribal administration offices, public service functions, public reception, information technology, shared conference facilities, records, and building support spaces. Initial planning allocates 30,672 square feet to departmental use and 9,202 square feet to circulation, common areas, and mechanical and electrical support.
