Archivist Consultant Services For Onsite Records Management And Digitization
The County of Imperial Department of Public Works is seeking qualified consultants to provide professional archivist services to improve its records management and digitization processes. The project involves assessing existing physical and digital records, including engineering plans, maps, and historical documents, and developing a standardized archival system to enhance accessibility, organization, and compliance with applicable regulations such as the California Public Records Act. The selected consultant will create a records retention schedule, recommend digitization standards, and establish a centralized digital filing framework.
