WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The Soboba Economic Development Corporation, a Section 17 corporation wholly owned by the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians, is seeking a market research firm to carry out an independent Southern California market analysis for a potential tribal aquaculture venture on or near the Soboba Indian Reservation in San Jacinto. Potential components include a recreational fishing lake, a fish hatchery, and a commercial aquaculture operation producing sustainable seafood. The analysis is the first step in the corporation's Board review, because site criteria, water needs, costs and regulatory pathways all depend on which market opportunity proves viable.
