Art Services for the Fresno Box Art Project 2026
The City of Fresno is soliciting proposals from qualified artists and muralists to design original artwork for the Fresno Box Art Project 2026, a citywide public art beautification initiative. The project seeks to transform standard traffic utility cabinets into visually engaging public artworks using digitally printed vinyl wraps. A total of 20 traffic boxes will be wrapped along the McKinley Avenue, Shaw Avenue, and Cedar Avenue corridors. Each corridor has an established theme, including Aviation and Bulldog Spirit, intended to reflect community identity, local history, and cultural pride. Selected artists will create original designs that enhance the streetscape, deter vandalism, and contribute to a sense of place while meeting strict content, accessibility, and technical requirements.
