WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The City and County of San Francisco, through its Human Services Agency, is seeking a nonprofit organization to deliver Learning Needs Assessments for adults who receive CalWORKs public assistance and are engaged in an employment activity or path. Many participants carry undiagnosed learning barriers, such as difficulty with reading comprehension, functional literacy, basic math, processing speed or executive functioning, that undermine job performance and retention. Structured assessments give each participant, and the case team around them, a standardized view of skills gaps and of whether accommodations, targeted training or support services would improve job readiness.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Each file title should include the RFP number, the proposer's agency name and the file count (for example 1 of 4). Proposals must be created in word processing software and typed in 12-point sans serif font; text should be double-spaced and unjustified, with margins of at least 1 inch, and the proposal must follow the required content order, including the signed Attachment 1 cover page and page number form. Late proposals, supplemental documents or revisions are not accepted. The proposer is solely responsible for ensuring the proposal is received, and confirming receipt with both addresses is strongly recommended. Proposers not yet registered as City suppliers must register through the San Francisco Supplier Portal.
