The County of Los Angeles Treasurer and Tax Collector is seeking proposals for a fully hosted, browser-based Software-as-a-Service solution to administer the County’s Cannabis Business Tax program. The Cannabis Business Tax System will support taxpayer registration, tax filing, payment processing, account administration, compliance monitoring, notice generation, and operational and financial reporting. The selected contractor will provide all labor, software, hosting, implementation, integration, maintenance, security, and support services necessary to deploy and operate the system. The platform must operate in a secure cloud-hosted environment and provide web-based access for both County staff and taxpayers. Additional requirements include secure payment reconciliation, automated audit reporting, integration with County systems and payment processors, user training, disaster recovery, information security compliance, scalability, and long-term operational support.
