Career and Technical Education and Career and Technical College Youth Services Transition to Employment
Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council seeks a service provider (or partners) to help secondary Career and Technical Education students and postsecondary Career and Technical College students complete training and transition into employment. The program prioritizes short-term transition activities that connect education to work, including paid work-based learning, employer attachment, career services, credential attainment, and placement and retention supports aligned with regional labor demand. Deliverables may include program administration, outreach and coordination with education partners, participant intake and eligibility support, employer recruitment and placement coordination across priority sectors (such as healthcare, hospitality and tourism, specialty manufacturing and logistics, forest and wood products, food production, and information technology and telecommunications), fiscal oversight, and required reporting. Proposers must explain how services will reach rural and underserved communities in the region, with emphasis on Grays Harbor and Pacific counties, and how they will manage performance and quality using work-based learning outputs and youth outcomes.
