The City of Watsonville Public Works and Utilities Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide professional surveying services in the role of Consulting City Surveyor. The selected consultant will perform technical review of parcel and final subdivision maps, sign required certificates attesting to map accuracy in accordance with California Government Code Sections 66442 and 66450, and review and prepare legal descriptions of real property. The consultant will also support City engineering staff on surveying-related matters and may conduct topographic and boundary surveys on an as-needed basis. This will be an on-call, time-and-materials contract with an initial one-year term and options to extend up to three years.
