Citywide Parking Feasibility and Rate Study

The City of Compton is seeking qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive citywide parking feasibility and rate study. The project aims to evaluate publicly managed parking assets, including on-street and off-street facilities, across residential, commercial, and civic areas. The selected consultant will analyze parking supply, demand, utilization, and operational challenges using data-driven methodologies such as field observations and license plate recognition. The study will include stakeholder engagement, financial modeling of parking rate scenarios, and evaluation of policy and program alternatives such as permit systems and shared parking. Additionally, the consultant will assess parking technology, signage, and operational systems while identifying opportunities for efficiency and revenue optimization. The final deliverables will include detailed reports, implementation strategies, and recommendations to support data-informed decision-making, improve accessibility, and enhance long-term parking management across the City.
