WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Long Beach seeks to establish a Pre-Qualified List of vendors to provide as-needed community outreach and engagement services across a broad range of municipal disciplines. The goal is to build a bench of specialists — including both large firms and smaller community-based organizations — that City departments can quickly access without conducting a full competitive procurement each time a need arises. Vendors on the list will deliver services that fall outside the expertise of City staff, are best delivered by organizations trusted by historically under-served populations, or are required by state or federal grant programs to be facilitated by non-City entities.
