The City of Placentia is seeking proposals from qualified investment advisory firms to provide comprehensive investment management and advisory services for the City’s approximately $25 million investment portfolio. The selected firm will oversee day-to-day portfolio administration, provide discretionary investment advisory services, conduct credit and market risk analysis, prepare monthly and quarterly investment reports, and ensure compliance with California Government Code and the City’s Investment Policy. Additional responsibilities include annual reviews of the City’s Investment Policy, recommendations for regulatory compliance updates, assistance with broker/dealer due diligence, and support for audit and financial reporting activities. The City’s investment priorities are safety of principal, liquidity, and yield. Services must be delivered in a fiduciary capacity and aligned with recognized best practices for public fund investment management.
