WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
Santa Cruz County is seeking a single qualified contractor to provide on-call supplemental disaster readiness, response, and cost-recovery capacity across the full disaster lifecycle. The services are intended to augment, not replace, County staff when the scale, complexity, or duration of a major incident exceeds in-house capacity or requires specialized expertise, and no minimum quantity of work is guaranteed. Work is activated task by task by the County Director of Emergency Services or Director of Emergency Management, by email, task order, or a verbal request later confirmed in writing.
