The State of Washington, through the Department of Enterprise Services, is issuing a Request for Information to gather input from vendors regarding Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment software solutions. The goal is to inform the development of specifications and a future statewide contract for interoperable EV charging software. The requested solution should support centralized management of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across multiple agencies and systems, enabling real-time monitoring, energy management, remote control, billing, authentication, and reporting. The state is particularly interested in software that can integrate multiple charger brands, ensure interoperability, and provide scalable and efficient operations. Vendors are asked to provide detailed information on system compatibility, connectivity, pricing structures, cybersecurity measures, and support services. This RFI will help the state define procurement strategies and technical requirements for a unified EV charging network.
