The Public Utility District No. 1 of Lewis County is seeking qualified electrical engineering consulting firms to provide professional services on an as-needed basis. The selected consultant(s) will support projects related to the District’s electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations, where internal staff lack capacity or specialized expertise. Services will be authorized through task orders and may include system planning, design, technical analysis, engineering studies, and construction support. Firms must demonstrate experience completing at least three comparable projects for public utilities in Washington State or similar entities within the past ten years. The District intends to evaluate Statements of Qualifications and may conduct interviews prior to selecting the highest-ranked firm for contract negotiation. The resulting agreement will establish a professional services contract framework with negotiated scopes of work and compensation for individual task orders.
