WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The City of Ontario is seeking an engineering firm to deliver a feasibility analysis and final engineering design for the Turner Avenue Storm Drain and Street Improvement Project (SM2701). The project covers about 550 feet of North Turner Avenue and an adjacent rock-lined open channel, running from 500 feet south of East Guasti Road to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. The City plans to put the open channel underground by designing a Master Planned storm drain facility, estimated as a 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe with catch basins and connections. The channel now connects to a 54-inch culvert that crosses beneath the railroad into Ontario International Airport.
