WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The City of San Diego has issued a Request for Information to conduct market research on enterprise geographic information system (GIS) platforms, solutions, and related implementation and support services. No contract will be awarded as a result of the RFI. The City will use the responses to assess the current enterprise GIS market, understand available architectures, licensing models and commercial arrangements, identify interoperability and data-portability considerations, develop budgetary estimates and requirements, and decide whether a future solicitation should be a single enterprise award, multiple component awards, or a series of smaller engagements.
