Washington County, Oregon is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive environmental engineering consulting services to support County facilities and properties, including those acquired through tax foreclosure. The selected firm will act as the County’s agent in matters involving environmental and health and safety regulatory agencies such as the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, and Clean Water Services. Services include investigation of underground storage tanks, landfill-related issues, contaminated site assessments, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, asbestos-containing materials surveys, air quality surveys, geotechnical construction observation, stormwater and industrial wastewater permitting, spill response, and environmental reporting. The contractor must provide 24/7 emergency response services and support regulatory compliance, documentation, and oversight of remediation. The contract term is one year with renewal options up to five years.
