Environmental Permitting and Cultural Historical Review for Road J.5 Northwest – Road 6 Northwest to Road 8 Northwest County Road
Douglas County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from consulting firms with expertise in environmental permitting, biological review, and cultural and historical resource analysis for the Road J.5 Northwest improvement project between Road 6 Northwest and Road 8 Northwest. The project includes grading, excavation, fill, paving, guardrail installation, and related safety improvements impacting approximately 30 acres of existing roadway, dryland agriculture, ephemeral drainage, and rural scrubland. The selected consultant will conduct site reviews; prepare cultural and historical surveys; complete biological assessments; develop wetland delineations if applicable; prepare and submit permit documentation including Hydraulic Project Approval and Joint Aquatic Resources Permit Application materials; and coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies. The project is funded through the County Road Administration Board Rural Arterial Program and local sources and must comply with applicable regulations.
