Federal Consultant Services- CSU Fullerton
California State University (CSU), Fullerton, is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide federal relations and advocacy services on its behalf. The selected consultant will work with university leadership to develop and implement strategies that strengthen the institution’s federal engagement and increase access to congressional and federal agency funding opportunities. Key responsibilities include coordinating meetings with members of Congress and federal agencies, monitoring federal legislation and policy developments affecting higher education, identifying grant and appropriations opportunities, and supporting the submission of congressional funding requests. The consultant will also assist with building strategic relationships with policymakers, organizing participation in federal initiatives such as Hill Week, and enhancing the university’s national visibility through media engagement and federal partnerships. Additional responsibilities include providing regular progress reports, strategic recommendations, and facilitating internship opportunities in Washington, D.C. for students. The engagement aims to improve CSUF’s effectiveness in federal advocacy, strengthen relationships with federal stakeholders, and increase the university’s ability to secure federal resources aligned with institutional priorities.
