WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is seeking a qualified environmental consulting firm to assess up to 40 residential properties in the Greater Portuguese Bend Landslide area before they are bought out, demolished and converted to permanent open space. The work supports the City's Voluntary Property Buyout Program, funded through FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and administered with Cal OES. The landslide, among the largest in the country, has accelerated sharply and left dozens of homes red- or yellow-tagged and uninhabitable.
