The Measure J Traffic Congestion Relief Agency (TRAFFIX) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide financial auditing services for fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, through 2028, with potential contract extensions. The selected auditor will be responsible for conducting annual independent audits of the agency’s financial statements, evaluating financial records, transactions, and internal controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws and Government Auditing Standards. Services include preparation of audit reports, management discussion and analysis (MD&A), and required reports to the State Controller. The auditor will also provide recommendations on internal controls through management letters and may be required to attend board and committee meetings. The contract is expected to span an initial three-year term with optional extensions, and the selected firm will report directly to the TRAFFIX Board of Directors.
