WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The California Energy Commission is seeking a single Statewide Implementer to run its HOMES Pay for Performance Program, a statewide residential rebate program funded through the Inflation Reduction Act's Home Owner Managing Energy Savings rebates from the U.S. Department of Energy. Unlike conventional upfront rebates, payments under this program are based on energy savings actually measured at the meter, and the selected contractor will be responsible for deploying more than $90 million in rebates to homeowners who upgrade their energy equipment and appliances.
