Implementation of a Computer Aided Dispatch Mobile Records Management System
The City of Fontana is issuing a Request for Information to gather industry insights and vendor capabilities related to the implementation of a Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile, and Records Management System for its Police Department. The objective is to evaluate modern, integrated Commercial Off the Shelf solutions that enhance dispatch operations, data management, analytics, and system interoperability. Vendors are invited to provide detailed information on system functionality, technical architecture, integration capabilities, mapping features, business intelligence tools, and compliance with Criminal Justice Information Services standards. The RFI also seeks input on implementation strategies, data migration approaches, support models, and cost estimates including total cost of ownership. This initiative will help the City assess current market offerings and inform a potential future Request for Proposals.
