Individual Placement and Support Model of Supported Employment
The County of Marin Department of Health and Human Services is soliciting proposals to establish and operate an Individual Placement and Support Model of Supported Employment program funded under the Behavioral Health Services Act. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a qualified provider to implement an evidence-based supported employment program that assists adults and transition-age youth with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions in obtaining and sustaining competitive, integrated employment. The selected contractor will deliver the full Individual Placement and Support model, including rapid job search, systematic employer engagement, benefits planning, integration with behavioral health treatment teams, and time-unlimited follow-along supports. Services must align with Medi-Cal and Behavioral Health Community-Based Organized Networks of Equitable Care and Treatment requirements, meet fidelity standards, and prioritize equity by serving populations disproportionately impacted by unemployment, homelessness, and justice involvement.
