WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Long Beach is seeking a technology partner to improve how existing City staff find and use the City's institutional knowledge. Staff currently spend a significant amount of time moving through scattered and fragmented data systems, including SharePoint and Laserfiche, to locate public records, contracts, and City Council letters, memos, and minutes. That time goes into producing reports and answering Public Records Act requests, and the City wants it redirected to serving the community.
