Land Use and Climate Innovation Grantee Applicant Grantee and Program Support
The State of California, through the Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation, is seeking proposals from qualified entities to provide comprehensive technical assistance and programmatic support services. The selected contractor will support grant applicants and grantees by assisting with application development, project planning, budgeting, and implementation processes. The scope of work includes capacity building for organizations, particularly those with limited resources, and facilitating engagement with disadvantaged communities and tribal entities. The contractor will also provide program support by establishing accountability structures, improving grant management processes, and enhancing coordination among stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include organizing workshops, supporting peer learning opportunities, and ensuring compliance with program requirements. The goal of this RFP is to strengthen the effectiveness of climate-related programs and improve access to funding opportunities by enhancing applicant readiness and grantee performance across California.
