Leadership Development Training, Coaching and Mentoring
The State of California Department of Conservation is seeking a qualified training professional to design and deliver a comprehensive leadership development program that includes customized training, executive coaching, and mentoring services. The objective is to strengthen leadership capabilities across managerial and executive staff, enhance organizational effectiveness, and support a high-performing workforce. The selected contractor will provide up to 200 hours of confidential coaching and mentoring, along with multiple customized instructor-led training courses delivered in both virtual and in-person formats. Training topics include transitioning into leadership, decision-making and prioritization, conflict resolution, situational leadership, team development, strategic thinking, and strategic leadership. Courses must be developed to ensure long-term internal sustainability, including knowledge-transfer sessions and training materials for in-house use. The contract term is anticipated to run from April 15, 2026, through March 31, 2030, with a maximum budget of $500,000.
